I love my job, but...

Having time off work these last couple of weeks has been so, so good

I'm going to miss the late nights and lazy mornings with these guys until next Christmas.

 The upside to getting back into the swing of things?

The Bach is back.

Long time, no talk.

I've been missing everyone in the blog-o-sphere so much. I love catching up on everyone's blogs, but I'm just not feeling the writing thing these days. I hate that my "so called" bloggy friendships have become so one sided. A possible New Year's Resolution in the making? Maybe. We shall see.


I will leave you with this. My favorite 4-legged friend.

no apologies. my first blog attempts this winter failed. i  make no excuses other than the last 8 months looked significantly different than i thought they did-some days our happenings were no so blog worthy. but whatev. 

since my last post...

• we renovated a house in less than a month.
• we moved. ptl.
• we traveled. a lot.
• visited old stomping grounds in Upland and Marion
• Disney World! yay for family vacay!
• Las Vegas, for a work conferences
• Grayson, KY for SITS
• Middle School TEENPOWER Camp at USI
• Murfreesboro, TN to see dear friends
• Joplin, MO for Tornado relief
• 2 very quick trips to Indy
• we re-evaluated our lifestyle. it's a tad-bit lonely. so we are working on that. 
• taught our dog to swim in our pool. it's beautiful
• attended weddings of many dear friends, and missed several due to lack of travel time.

oh. and i'm running the evansville half-marathon with a friend. and decided this TODAY. oops. no better time than the present. so, i'll also be blogging about this new venture here.

Our Little Monster.

He is definitely not 3 lbs. 2 oz. anymore. (more like 7)

And he no longer is sleeping 16 hours a day. (major bummer)

We have turned into "those" people. The "dog" people. Oops.

The Pup

We love our pup-dog.

He slept from 10:30PM-5:45AM last night. His longest night yet!

This makes for one very happy Dustin and Hillary.

FINALLY

We FINALLY did it! We got a dog. 

A 6-week old male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier to be exact.

Meet Tozer Krantz.

He was asleep, but we HAD to take a family pic on his first day!
